You’re invited to start a real conversation with your body and leave feeling more grounded, clearer, and more open to whatever it has to say.

11:30 AM — Qi Gong
with Gina Molby
Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient practice often referred to as meditation in motion, and the grandmother of the martial arts. The word combines "qi" (life force energy) and "gong" (skill or cultivation), and can be understood as the practice of awakening, refining, and harmonizing the natural flow of energy within and around us. Through gentle movement, breath, and focused awareness, we work with the body's energetic pathways, known as meridians, to encourage flow, release stagnation, and restore balance. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, these pathways are understood to influence not only physical health, but also our emotional and mental well-being. Many of us carry the residue of stress, overwhelm, grief, frustration, and unprocessed experiences within the body. Qigong offers a simple yet profound way to clear those energetic "snags," cultivate equanimity, and reconnect with our natural state of vitality and presence. Expect slow, repetitive movements that are easy to follow, deeply grounding, and accessible to all experience levels. Come as you are. Leave feeling more centered, connected, and at ease.

NOON — Deep Body Connection with Sound

At the conclusion of the session, participants will have an opportunity to share any experiences they had during the session.

This workshop offers hands-on experiences to help participants connect with their own creative flow, including:

  • Centering meditation and gentle movement practices

  • Make-your-own essential oil roller

  • Herbal tea ritual

Designed and facilitated by Sarah Cram, Katharine Ruestow, and Abbie Sawyer, this workshop draws on more than 20 years of friendship, collaboration, and creative exploration. As bandmates in The Night Lights and Diplomats of Solid Sound, they have spent decades weaving together life, art, music, and community.
